cool caricature-ish piece. i really like the sort of antialiased (or smooth.. whatever) lineart, and these soft colors. as usual your colors are spot on. i've never seen you use a combo i didn't like, and that is just the truth.
and yeah, your anatomy (hands and feet) especially are just good. do you do any life drawing?

Thank you, thankyou, thank you. I wanted to try a new colour scheme. This reminds me of the colour schemes I usually use when oekakiing (pastels) but this particular piece I wanted a "neopolitan" Ice cream colour scheme because I wanted ice cream! :B

As for the life drawing, I have taken two classes on it (my school only offers two classes. BUMMER!) but they have a free life drawing session every week that I usually go to. You have to know how to draw reality in order to manipulate it correctly.

Hahaha.
This is beautiful. There's something so slick about the ink splatters and the warm pastel colors that contrasts so nicely and really brings the piece together.
